Tuba J. Farooqui, Esq. is an Associate Attorney at White, Rose, & Hilferty, where she focuses her practice on employment discrimination and sexual harassment law. Tuba is passionate about advocating for employees who have faced unfair treatment in the workplace and brings both empathy and tenacity to every case she handles.
Tuba earned her Juris Doctor from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in May 2022, where she was recognized on the Dean’s List throughout 2021 and 2022. During law school, she was an active member of the Muslim Law Students Association and the Latino Law Students Association, centering her studies on labor and employment law.
Her commitment to workers’ rights took shape early in her career. As a second-year law student, she interned with the New York State United Teachers, assisting in the representation of public-school educators in labor disputes. The following summer, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk to EEOC Administrative Judge Karen Ortiz, where she gained hands-on experience with federal employment discrimination cases. In her third year, Tuba joined the Amelia A. Gould Representation in Mediation Clinic, helping pro se litigants navigate employment law matters.
After graduation, Tuba clerked at a prominent Westchester construction and labor law firm, later expanding her litigation and trial preparation experience in personal injury defense. She ultimately returned to her passion for employment advocacy and joined White, Rose & Hilferty, where she remains dedicated to protecting employees’ rights and amplifying their voices.
Before law school, Tuba earned her B.A. in Law & Society from Ramapo College of New Jersey. As an undergraduate, she worked in the Office of Equity and Diversity Programs, where she advocated for equitable accommodations and inclusion initiatives for underrepresented students.
