Jeffrey T. Rosenberg serves as Senior Counsel at White, Rose, & Hilferty, PC, where his practice focuses on representing employees with respect to violations of city, state, and federal anti-discrimination laws and wage/hour laws. Jeffrey litigates discrimination claims based on race, gender, age, pregnancy, national origin, religion, disability, and sexual orientation, as well as claims for unpaid minimum wage and overtime. Jeffrey also litigates whistleblower retaliation actions involving financial fraud, corruption, as well as health and safety violations against both municipalities and private entities.
He is well-versed in all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trials. Jeffrey is a proven legal adviser to his clients, providing not only strategic litigation advice but also helping clients understand the steps necessary to pursue their claims.
Prior to joining White, Rose, & Hilferty, PC, Mr. Rosenberg worked for a large international litigation firm as well as several New York City litigation boutiques, where in addition to litigating an array of cases spanning various subject matters and jurisdictions, he advised small and growing companies on employee relations issues.
For many years, Mr. Rosenberg advised employers on employment agreements, classification of exempt/nonexempt employees, protection of trade secrets, antidiscrimination policies, grievance procedures, employee performance issues, progressive disciplinary policies, wage and hour issues, time and leave issues, and workplace safety issues. Mr. Rosenberg is a graduate of The University of Michigan-Ann Arbor (B.A., 2002) and Touro University Law School (J.D., 2006). In law school, he was awarded a Merit Scholarship and the CALI Award for Best Oral Advocate. Mr. Rosenberg’s work has also been recognized by the “Super Lawyers” publication, which selected him as a “Rising Star” in the field of employment litigation in 2019.
