Reasonable Accommodations for Religion

Employers are required by law to reasonably accommodate their employees’ religious beliefs and practices. “Reasonable” accommodations are defined as not causing difficulty or expense for the employer. Examples of such accommodations includes an employer permitting an employee to pray at certain intervals throughout the day or an employee wearing clothing that is representative of their faith.
